Hi folks…I’ve been tagged by my good friend Layne Macadam in TNBTBH!
So here goes:
My next best thing is my new MUSES ACROSS TIME series, and book I (Chasing Terpsichore) I’ve already spoken about on another post, so I’ll talk about the book 2 now – it’s called Calling Calliope
2: Where did the idea come from for the book?
3: What genre does your book come under?
The heroine is a little trickier. I am thinking Jennifer Garner – she has the height and the heart for it.
5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
6: Is your book self-published, published by an independent publisher, or represented by an agency?
7: How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
8: What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
9: Who or what inspired you to write this book?
10: What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
When Callie is found wandering the streets of Melbourne, she has no memory of who she is. When a larger than life man appears, claiming he’s her husband, Callie immediately assumes they’re not together for a reason.
But a violent criminal is angry with her for hiding his family and plots revenge, so keeping this giant of a man around seems like it might be a good idea after all.
Gus might be a King in his own land, but this strange place is a different story. It took him six months to find his beloved Calliope and he is not leaving without her. Even if she can’t remember him. Now that she’s in danger, the need to rescue her is greater, but the stubborn woman won’t believe him. To win her back he has to play it by her rules, or risk losing her forever.
Thanks for tagging me Layne!
It’s my pleasure Maggie, and I must say the book sounds great! I have a passion for Greek mythology, and dare I say Chris Hemsworth too!! Yummm, what more can I say! *fanning myself*
I have to say, he’s definitely a star in many of my dreams 🙂
